Stock Market Falls on Chinese Property Fears


U.S. stocks fell in early trading, pointing to an extension of recent losses on Wall Street as concerns regarding China’s indebted property sector rippled into global markets.

The S&P 500 dropped 1.6% Monday, after the broad stocks gauge posted its biggest two-week decline since February. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 1.6%, or 535 points, and the technology-focused Nasdaq Composite Index fell 1.9%.
