Respect financial watchdog independence, UK lawmakers tell ministry

LONDON, July 6 (Reuters) – Britain’s finance ministry should avoid crimping the independence of financial regulators by overloading them with requests for post-Brexit rule amendments, UK lawmakers said on Tuesday.
