Mother and sons set sights on real estate

Selling property has become a family affair at 57 Narragansett Ave.

Jamestown Real Estate became the fifth local realty firm when it opened its doors in January. Led by principal broker Deb Foppert, her first two sales associates are her sons, Tim and Matt Archer. The business is an extension of the law practice that she operates in the same building with her husband, Eric Archer.

“We’ve been thinking about it for decades,” Foppert said, “but the time wasn’t right until now.”

Foppert, a native of New Jersey, has lived in Jamestown since 1988. Her sons grew up locally and graduated from St. George’s School in Middletown.
