More trouble for Manish Sisodia? NGT panel to verify allegations of Delhi Dy CM aiding illegal construction

New Delhi: In more trouble for Aam Aadmi Party leader and Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, allegations have been levelled against him of using his political influence to allow illegal construction in a park in Patparganj. It may be noted that Patparganj in east Delhi is Sisodia’s Assembly constituency.
Times Now has learned that the National Green Tribunal (NGT) has set up a high-level committee to probe the allegations levelled by RTI activist Sanjiv Jain, who had approached the NGT. It may however be noted that the NGT has constituted the panel only to verify the facts of the case on the ground and no illegality has been established so far in the case, not even prima facie.

The NGT has, however, ordered to stop whatever illegal construction was going on at the park in Patparganj. The order was issued on August 5.
