In a red-hot Massachusetts real estate market, the median sales price for a single-family home has hit $525,000.
MetroWest and Milford are following that trend.
In Framingham, the median home price has risen nearly 15%, from $470,000 in the first five months of the year in 2020 to $540,000 at the same point this year, while the median price of a home in Marlborough has increased 13.6%, from $405,000 to $460,000. In Milford, the numbers are slightly more tame. The median sales price has risen 10.3%, from $390,000 to $430,000, in the past year, according to The Warren Group, a leading provider of real estate and transaction data.
