This week TRREB released the April market report and the numbers serve up lots to chew on, particularly because it’s the first month where we have true year-over-year data to reveal how our real estate market has fared in the wake of COVID-19.

The first full month under lockdown, April 2020’s sales numbers were horrendous. So it is that bit of context that is critical to bear in mind when we learn that April 2021 experienced a 362.1% year-over-year increase in new listings and a 237% bump in properties sold.
