Irish tourists that are planning on heading to Spain on holidays are being warned of a new scam that has been catching people out.
The warning comes after Spanish police have arrested two men last week in relation with the con.
According to The Mirror, the 54 year old and 60 year old were arrested in Benalmadena, a resort on the Costa del Sol, after being linked to six instances of theft and five cases of fraud.
As part of the scam, the pair stole bank cards and money after tricking tourists using what’s being called as the ‘bird poo scam’.
The alleged scam sees the con artist throw liquid onto the back of their target.
They then tell them that a bird has pooed on their back and offer to help…
