IGIS Asset Management’s real estate assets across Asia are the world’s second largest in terms of assets under management (AUM), according to global real estate market researcher Institutional Real Estate Inc. (IREI) on Wednesday. IGIS Asset Management’s Asian AUM stood at $26.94 billion as of the end of 2020, up 30% from the previous year. It ranked second on the IREI’s list of Global Investment Managers 2021 in Asia, climbing one step from the third place in 2019. IGIS’ total real estate AUM grew 29% from 2019 to $36.55 billion in 2020, becoming the largest real estate asset manager in Korea. It ranked 39th in the global ranking, moving up from 44th in the previous year.
