Here’s what Central Florida’s real estate market looks like today – WFTV


ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Central Florida real estate market is still hot, but not as hot as it once was.

The latest numbers from September show the median home price dropped in the Orlando area for the first time in the last year.


Real estate agents are also seeing more homes on the market. Inventory has gone up six of the last seven months.

And they said while it’s still a good market for sellers, it’s getting better for buyers who aren’t facing as much competition to buy homes.

“The most offers we had on one of our houses was 52 this spring,” said Ray Lopez with Keller Williams-Advantage 2 Realty. “The most we’ve gotten in the last couple months is 11 offers on a property.”
