East Robertson grad turns idea into blooming business | Community


A colorful few acres off of Highway 25 in Cross Plains is where Savannah Jo Jones finds tranquility.

The area of which the 2018 East Robertson High School graduate — who traditionally goes by ‘Jo’ — describes as a place of peacefulness is two acres within Jones Farms, her family’s business, one that focuses on cattle, tobacco and produce and spans more than 900 acres across Robertson County.

Jones’ spot, however, is a blooming business of sorts, that she operates alongside her father, Jerry, whom she credits highly for helping make it what it has become today.

“I feel peace. This is my happy place being out here; this is where I really like to be,” said Jones, about the flower-filled fields and work shed that is home to Jo’s Flower Co. “I’m really thankful I can have this as my job.”
