Micro-Small to Medium Enterprise Council of PNG is disappointed over reports of scammers going around in Lae pretending to offer SME trainings and charging money from people.
The MSME Council made this statement in response to an article published earlier this week where a ward member in Ahi local level government raised concerns on SME scams in the area.
Ward 10 member Wenti Mineva said some of these scammers are asking the people to come up with K500-K600 as fees for SME trainings and obtaining documents to make them eligible for a loan in the bank.
