Diane Crist, a business growth professional consultant who has been a Longmont resident for 32 years, is seeking one of the two at-large City Council seats up for election in November.
Crist, a Mount Sneffels Street resident, said in an interview that her clients have included some public-sector government agencies as well as private businesses.
She said Longmont city government needs to look at its priorities and ensure that it has “a good plan for tax dollar efficiency” and that its activities are following “best business practices” in order to ensure “abundance for everyone in town.”
Crist added in an email that “working on solutions to truly take us 20 years or more into the future is a priority for me as well as a thriving business economy and efficiently utilizing tax dollars to support growth.”
